Yoshukai is a traditional Japanese style of karate founded by Grand Master Yamamoto, tenth degree black belt, from Japan. Our style specializes in forms, weapons, sparring and self-defense.

It is also a great form of exercise that helps ones balance, coordination and flexibility. Yoshukai Karate utilizes many various techniques from other styles of martial arts besides karate such as Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, Boxing and Kick Boxing.

Even though our style is a traditional Japanese Martial Art, we still make it fun and motivating. That is why it is so popular with kids as well as adults worldwide. Although it is not required, we encourage competition and have produced many champions in sport karate and kickboxing.
